  • Remarks: Elder Cannon served in three different First Presidencies.  He was convicted of unlawful cohabitation and served six months in jail.  When the Brigham Young University football team scores a touchdown on their home field, the BYU ROTC cadets fire a cannon named “George Q.” in honor of Elder Cannon.

If George Reynolds [the man who was convicted of committing bigamy] is to be punished, let the world know the facts.
