STIMULATOR message for the week of February 6, 1973
Starting with the January 1, 1973 edition of the Stimulator, President Sant no longer included a Mission President’s message
Notes from the field:
“The Lord has certainly answered our prayers this week. It’s really been a blessing to be here in Greymouth. We are so thankful to be here and spread this glad message. Brother _____ was certainly an answer to our prayers. He’s a wonderful person and he accepted the gospel readily. We are looking forward to this next week, we have set our goals and are really going to achieve them with the help of the Lord. It is a pleasure to serve the Lord. I pray that He will bless Greymouth and the whole mission with His spirit.” Elder Wood.
“The Lord is truly blessing us to a great extent. Every day there are different, rich, spiritual experiences. We had the opportunity once again to baptize a mighty priesthood holder who truly has leadership potential. We have a realistic goal that we know we will reach, which is 3 FUB’s and 1 CFB, during the next two months. Only with the Lord’s help will we be able to achiever this goal. Elder Woodford and I are diligently trying to be a team with the Lord all of the time. What a joy it is to be a missionary servant.” Elder Sandgren.
“There is no greater joy in the world than to see a repentant soul enter the waters of baptism!! It is wonderful to baptize, and I know we can keep baptizing every week, for this is our calling and I know the Lord will help us with the golden contacts we have. Sister ____ is one of God’s choice children. I have a firm and unshakable testimony of fasting and prayer, for it was only through this that we were able to see this fined Sister baptized. Nothing in the world beats being in the service of the Lord. I love it!” Elder Miller.
