STIMULATOR message for the week of March 20, 1973

Starting with the January 1, 1973 edition of the Stimulator, President Sant no longer included a Mission President’s message

Notes from the field:

“What a joy it is to baptize and to participate in the saving ordinances of the Gospel.  I really love it here in Napier and I know we are going to reach our goal of 4 baptisms this month.  The longer I am out here in the service of the Lord, the more the principle of goals is brought out to me.  This is truly a great principle.  When we as missionaries do our part the Lord will always do His.  I love my mission and the opportunity it presents to me to become close to my Father in Heaven.”  Elder Jenkins.

“This week, we saw the hands of the Lord in the work.  It was an unexpressed joy, to see Sister  ____ coming forth out of the water with tears in her eyes.  We are really fired up for next week, when we expect to baptize her husband.  I know that they will be a good family in the Church.  I love this work with all my heart.”  Elder Roberts.

“We had the joyous privilege of bringing two souls into the water this week and it was a spiritual experience for all who were there.  The Lord’s hand can really be seen in the work down here in Timaru.  He has opened the door to some tremendous families who I know will be baptized.  It is fantastic to be here on a mission and I am grateful for all the help you offer.  The Leadership Seminar was great, I now know my duties.”  Elder Hansen.
