Notes from the field:
“This has been a marvelous week, as it was so great to see our first person go into the water. I can’t help but feel that this is the start of a land slide. People are really going to come. I know more now than ever before how close Elder Hall was to me. He’s going to be one of the greatest leaders we have seen. Elder Hodgeman is a great guy, and along with a new board things are going great. Wow, how the Lord answers prayers.” Elder Bingham
“We have had an excellent week. It was rewarding to see Sister ____ baptized Saturday. I know that the Lord does provide the way for us to achieve our goals when we have that burning faith and desire with us. One of the greatest things I have leaned from my mission thus far is that there is a way to accomplish what you deeply desire. Hawera is a great area. My companion and I know there are many people here whom the Lord has prepared to accept the gospel.” Elder Woodruff.
“This work is so good. Each day, I seem to learn more fully that God lives. I have witnessed the Lord’s hand at work this past week, as we were blessed with a baptism. This shows me that He loves us in spite of our personal shortcomings. He is always waiting to help this great work. He truly blesses us according to our desires. I love it.” Elder Leishman.
