STIMULATOR message for the week of May 8, 1973
Starting with the January 1, 1973 edition of the Stimulator, President Sant no longer included a Mission President’s message
Notes from the field:
“What a blessing it is to baptize! Sister ____ will be an excellent member. The Lord truly did the converting, and I am so grateful for His guidance and inspiration as Elder Luki and I taught, testified to , and challenged this fine sister. I know beyond a doubt that the Lord is with us in this work. I couldn’t remain on a mission without Him.” Elder Gardner.
“I thoroughly enjoyed again an incredible week, in which the Lord blessed us with more men to strengthen the branch and boost the priesthood. The will of the Lord enabled my companion and me to do things that were really incomprehensible. I know our Father in Heaven is pleased when we do His will, and are instruments in doing things pleasing in His sight. We are going to continually strive to do His work by bettering our best and by constantly repenting and improving. Elder Katene.
“It was such a joy to receive the reward of a baptism after much work. The members really helped us so much with Sister _____. I know with their help she will make the Masterton Ward a lot stronger. Even if she is young, they need good youth here. The Lord really answered my prayers and He built my faith in Him. More than anything we want to be instruments in His hands in bringing the _____ family into the Church this month. But we really need His help.” Elder Fawcett.
