STIMULATOR message for the week of June 12, 1973

Starting with the January 1, 1973 edition of the Stimulator, President Sant no longer included a Mission President’s message

Notes from the field:

“It was surely wonderful to witness the baptism of three sisters into the Church.  I testify beyond a shadow of a doubt that these new discussions helped us further unite this family into the Church of Jesus Christ.  This past week bore out the importance of fellowshipping by the members to implant a constant desire to be baptized into the Church.  God helps those who help themselves and we are thankful to him for these choice baptisms.  With the help of the Lord I know that we can achieve our goals for June.  Through constant prayer and the desire to testify and challenge to people for baptism we hope to bring more choice families into the Church.  I love to have people experience the joy of baptism into the Church.”  Elder Fitisemanu.

“It is a grand feeling to be able to baptize.  The Lord has certainly blessed us with a great week.  I have never learned the importance of testifying and challenging as I have the past few weeks here in Christchurch.  I know the Lord will touch the hearts and minds of people when we bear a bold testimony and follow it with a strong challenge.  If they are worthy they will be baptized.  I surely love the work of the Lord and the blessings He gives us.  We are looking forward to another great week.”  Elder Robbins.
