BOOKS and READING

For years, I kept a record of the books I had read during my life.  I had my list stored as a “draft” in my email account, and on September 26, 2012, I accidentally deleted the draft and was unable to retrieve it.  I was just sick, because I had 100’s of books recorded.  I have tried to remember the books and re-create the list, but I have forgotten many of the titles.  I started this new list on the same day that I made my fatal deletion.  I have listed the books in three categories:  1) Fiction  2) History, Political, Science, Nonfiction   3) Religious, Religious fiction.  The hearts following each book signify my level of enjoyment, 5 hearts being “must read” and 1 heart being “don’t waste your time”.
I must also mention that one of my favorite books of all time is “A Short History of Nearly Everything”, authored by Bill Bryson.  This book vibrates my soul.  I have read it many times and get the same thrill every time.  I have actually outlined the contents of each chapter, and include those outlines here for anyone interested.  Just click here to go to the chapter index of one of the great ‘history’ books every written (in my opinion).
