First Presidencies that had no change during the service of the President of the Church
Following are the eight First Presidencies that underwent no change in the members of the First Presidency during the service of the Prophet.
- President John Taylor served exclusively with counselors Elder George Q. Cannon and Elder Joseph F. Smith
- President Wilford Woodruff served exclusively with counselor Elders George Q. Cannon and Elder Joseph F. Smith
- President George Albert Smith served exclusively with Elder J. Reuben Clark and Elder David O. McKay
- President Joseph Fielding Smith served exclusively with Elder Harold B. Lee and Elder N. Eldon Tanner
- President Harold B. Lee served exclusively with Elder N. Eldon Tanner and Elder Marion G. Romney
- President Ezra Taft Benson served exclusively with Elders Gordon B. Hinckley and Elder Thomas S. Monson
- President Howard W. Hunter served exclusively with Elder Gordon B. Hinckley and Elder Thomas S. Monson
- President Thomas S. Monson served exclusively with Elder Henry B. Eyring and Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf
• As of April 2024, President Russell M. Nelson has served his entire presidency with Elders Dallin H. Oaks and Henry B. Eyring as his counselors.
