Notes from the field:
“The Lord has blessed us this week with the opportunity of baptizing _____. It seems like he just puts them in our hands when the right time comes. We are powerless without the Lord’s help to do this great work. Brother _____ will make a good member of the Church. He showed a lot of enthusiasm about it and wants to reap the benefits of the Church. I love the people in this area and enjoy working here. May the Lord bless you.” Elder Clyde.
“The Lord blessed us with another baptism this week. Sister _____ is really one of the choicest souls that I have seen enter the waters of baptism. And to see her husband baptize her made it all the more worthwhile. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that you have been an instrument used by the Lord to witness a real convert join the Church. I love it.” Elder G. Wilson
“My joy is great and my heart is full! What a thrill it is to baptize. What a blessing it was to see Brother _____ enter the waters of baptism. He is such a choice spirit and I knew that our Father in Heaven had prepared him. It is also a thrill to know that our Father in Heaven has prepared someone else for baptism in our area and all we have to do is work hard enough to find them. Missionary work is such a challenge, and I love it because I know that we are made equal to our callings.” Elder Orick
“The Lord has blessed us with another fantastic week. I love to baptize and it was so great to be able to baptize _____ and _____ last Saturday. It was only through the Lord’s help that they were baptized. I have a strong testimony of prayer and fasting. I know it really works. It worked this week and it will continue to work as long as we are faithful.” Elder Dutra
