“This past week has been fantastic.  First, we finally received the new discussions, and just by reading through them I can see their great converting power.  Also, we were blessed with a beautiful baptism.  Brother and Sister _____ were impressed with their son’s baptism, and I know that we will be instrumental in bringing that whole family into the Church.  I love my mission and the privilege that it gives me to participate in its ordinances.  I can hardly wait to begin teaching with the new discussions and seeking the spirit that is necessary in becoming a successful missionary.”  Elder Jenkins.

“This last week was an eventful one.  We received the new discussions, I came down with a bad case of tonsillitis, and we had a baptism.  As I have studied the new discussions, I can’t help but see modern revelation coming forth.  My testimony is growing as I study them, and I am sure the whole mission will be put on a higher spiritual level with them.”  Elder Sandgren.

Do you have a missionary goal board in your room, and are you making full use of it?  Are you going to achieve your personal goals for this year?  In preparation for next years’ work we need to know how many Family Home Evening manuals we expect to use in our proselyting program.  We will need at least one for every family that is baptized.  Will you please estimate the number you will want and notify your Zone Leaders?  Zone Leaders, will you please compile the totals and forward them to us in your next zone report?  Thanks you , President Sant.
