**   Big Baldy

With the sun coming up in the east and Bismark located west of the Wasatch, they will be ideally situated for perfect signaling.  Tobin is a very enthusiastic ham operator and will be a great ham support for Henry and his scouts.
**   Black Crook Peak

Info: Black Crook Peak is a 9,500 foot peak in the Sheeprock Mountains, located west of Genola, Goshen, and Eureka.  We congratulate James

Info: Buckley Mountain sits between Maple Flat Mountain and Hobble Creek Canyon, just east of southeast Provo. **   Buffalo Peak

**   Cascade Mountain (North)

**   Cascade Mountain (South)

Info: Bishop Adams and his scouts will camp at Lake Hardy the night before the event, and then climb up to Chipman Peak which sits between Lone Peak to the west and Pfeifferhorn to the east.  They will have a commanding view of Utah Valley peaks and Salt Lake County peaks!  Lake Hardy is on the mountain slope north of Alpine, Utah, in the Lone Peak Wilderness area.
**   Currant Creek Mountain

**   “G” Mountain

**   Horseshoe Mountain

Info: Horseshoe Mountain is a famous mountain east of Mt. Pleasant in Sanpete County. This unit will be able to signal many of our Utah County peaks (Nebo, Loafer, Provo Peak, Spanish Fork Peak, etc.)  They will have a wonderful experience. **   Loafer Mountain

        Info: Loafer Mountain is the peak that soars above Spanish Fork and Elk Ridge. John and his scouts will make

**   Lowe Peak

        Info: Lowe Peak is northeast of Cedar Fort, in the Oquirrh range. At 10,589 feet of elevation, it will

              give Woody and his scouts a wonderful view in every direction.  The sun will be perfectly placed

              for maximum signaling strength. A huge herd of elk live on this mountain year-round.

 

**   Mahogany Mountain #1

**   Mary’s Nipple

        Info: Mary’s Nipple is also known as Mount Mucinea.  It is almost 11,000 feet and is located at the top of

              Mayfield Canyon, just about on the boundary between Sanpete County and Sevier County.  Robin and the

              scouts will have a great view of the peaks in the southern part of Utah County, and out into the Uintas

              as well.  Those of us on Timpanogos will really be trying to signal this group, as it could well win

              the “longest contact” award at our Ice Cream social!

 

**   Mount Timpanogos Temple

        Info: Rod and his unit will be on the grounds of the stake center just north of the temple.  President David L.

              Beck, the General President of the Young Mens’ organization will be there to begin the signaling on

              the morning of On Target and to share a brief message with all units, using ham radio. Rod is a seasoned

              On Target specialist.  Ed is a veteran ham and will ensure that President Beck’s message will make it to

              all the peaks.  Ed will also provide video and audio reporting of all that transpires at the temple site.

              Larry is not only a marvelous ham, but a seasoned On Target scout leader!

 

**   Mystery Station #1

        Unit: Some very seasoned On Target specialists

        Info: Robert and Jay are the leaders of this community-based Venture crew, and they will have a great

**   Pfeifferhorn (Little Matterhorn)

        Info: Pfeifferhorn has a profile very much like the “real” Matterhorn Mountain in the Swiss Alps.  It is 3

              miles east of Lone Peak and a little west of American Fork Twin Peaks. This mountain towers in the Lone

              Peak Wilderness area north of American Fork Canyon. It has an elevation of 11,326 feet.  Josh and his

              scouts will have an incredible view in every direction, and will be at the heart of our signaling.

 

**   Potato Hill

        Info: Potato Hill is the highest point of Traverse Mountain which is the mountain above Cabellas.  Potato Hill

              is just a little west of the homes up on the ridge of Traverse Mountain.  Bill will have his 11-year old

              scouts ready for action! Doug is a seasoned ham that will help the scouts have a great time.

 

**   Provo Peak

        Info: Provo Peak is the mountain immediately behind and east of “Y” Mountain.  ElRay and his scouts will have

**   Salt Peak (Juab County)
